A seamless blend of modern and classic design, this project complements the striking architectural elements of a newly built home in Tranmere. The focal point of the design is a custom-built concrete pillar, thoughtfully crafted to enhance the home’s wide frontage while maintaining a minimal footprint to preserve the overall space and functionality of the property.

The pillar itself is a refined structure, designed with precise proportions:

• Base section: 750mm x 400mm
• Middle shaft: 700mm x 350mm
• Top block: 750mm x 400mm x 100mm thick

To achieve a cohesive aesthetic, the pillar is finished with a 100mm thick capping profile, which is also used to cap the adjacent boundary wall, ensuring a consistent and polished look.

Further enhancing the entrance, two smaller matching concrete pillars were strategically placed to frame the home’s front steps, providing a balanced and inviting entryway. The result is a striking yet timeless frontage that harmonises with the home’s contemporary design, adding both character and architectural presence.
