The seamless clean lines incorporated in the design of this luxurious house in Erindale meant a minimalistic fence construction in order to further enhance this simple yet stylish contemporary home.   

A 450sq plain pillar with a recess block was selected to achieve this modern design. The 450mm square pillar has enough presence in order to achieve less frequency in pillars, allowing a more open feel to the front yard. This better highlights features such as landscaping, further adding another dimension to the property. 

The pillar incorporated a recessed band around the top, giving it a slight depth in design while the pencil rounded edges were able to soften the pillar slightly in appearance.   Any of our plain square pillars can be made from a height of 1m – 2.2m. This particular fence opted for a 2m pillar with a 600mm high precast wall and topped with our 280 wide plain square cap. The letterbox was a custom made stainless steel laser-cut plate and the infill selected for this particular job was a flat bar on edge. 

Such a project shows that the simple geometric design of this fence can not only complement but enhance the appearance of the most contemporary homes.
